Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed since I wrote this post.
Paris Bistro is a french restaurant located in Winter Park Florida. It’s off Park Avenue, which is a beautiful street with many shops and restaurants. The restaurant is separated from the street by a courtyard with a coy fish pond and a large artificial oak tree decorated with lights. There is a sign with restaurant name – Paris Bistro, but since it’s tucked away from the street, it’s easy to miss. They usually have an employee out on the street with the menu inviting people in.
Here’s a link to their lunch menu. Lunch cost is very reasonable. You get 3 courses for $11.95. And they also have a kids menu.
Gluten free items are well marked, and there are a lot of choices.
During my first visit there for dinner, I had Provencal Salmon with Tomato Basil Sauce , and it was really good.
On my second visit for lunch, the waitress recommended Veal Normandy. It’s a gluten free dish. It came with a side of potato cake . The side salad was really good as well. My friend ordered chicken salad for lunch.
For dessert there were several options. I chose banana foster. It was a flame roasted banana with a side of vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.
It’s not a large restaurant, so I would recommend making a reservation, especially if you are going during busy hours. They have seating inside, or in the covered courtyard, or outside on Park Avenue.
There is a French Gelato and macarone store right next door, called Le Macarone.
Their gelato and macarones are gluten free, and they also sell hand made chocolate truffles.
