Roy’s is located in South Orlando off Sand Lake Rd. They have a very nice gluten free menu with a gluten free chocolate souffle for dessert. It’s a seafood, sushi restaurant. They don’t have a kids menu, but can accommodate.
At the beginning of the meal, they bring out their signature edamame with special seasonings, complimentary. They have a fixed price meal, or you can order separate from the menu.
Our waiter asked if I have allergy to gluten or just eat gluten free to make sure it’s safe for me to eat.

I ordered Hibachi style grilled salmon, and it was delicious. It comes with sticky well seasoned rice covered with black sesame seeds and vegetables. I love how it’s so well seasoned. Sometimes chefs take out all the seasonings and make your dish plain, out of lack of knowledge what is gluten free. Not at Roy’s.
My 11 year old, who has celiac and doesn’t like seafood very much, had short ribs
When they bring out your main course, they ask if you want a souffle for dessert, since it takes 20 min to prepare. I recommend to leave some room for dessert, since souffle is amazing. It’s served warm with vanilla ice cream
They even have a recipe for it in the restaurant for people to take home.
We finally were able to find souffle cups on Amazon, like these:
We followed the recipe, and it came out really good, just as good as in Roy’s. It’s a lot of work though, and you have to make it right before eating it.
I’ve been to Roy’s Orlando location as well as Sarasota, Florida location, and both gave us a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.
